Quartz

Engineered stone (Quartz) is a composite material made of crushed stone bound together by an adhesive to create a solid surface.

Quartz Surfaces are strong, dense and generally wont stain. However Quartz countertops might not be great with heat and thus putting hot pots directly on quartz surfaces is not recommended.
