Travertine is formed by a process of rapid precipitation of calcium carbonate.

Travertine is a Soft and Porous Stone. we highly recommend sealing it and not to cut over

Soapstone is relatively soft because of its high talc content. Softer grades may feel similar to soap when touched, hence the name.

Becuase of its Softness Soapstones can be easily scratched. however they are very dense and extremely stain resistant.
